WHICH SGA CHARACTER WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Aug. 11th, 2010 07:34 pmOn the same bent as the which doctor would you choose? I thought it would be fun if we discussed these questions.
1. Which SGA character would you want to have as your best friend? Why?
2. Which character do you wish they had never killed or written off the show? Why?
3. If you could have any of the characters as your lover, who would you choose and why?
4. Who would you marry? Why? If it's not the same person as #3, why?
5. Which character was the biggest scene stealer?
6. Dress blues or BDUs?
7. Character they should have whumped more often? Why?
8. Scariest villains? Why?

Date: 2010-08-12 03:37 am (UTC)1. Radek. He's a darling and hilarious. He's very good at his work and passionate. He is also very loyal and kind. And he clearly can put up with a lot ob bullshit. I would pale in comparison to Rodney! I'm also very good to my friends and he strikes me as someone who wouldn't make me do all the work in maintaining our friendship.
2. To be honest, I was only sad and dismayed about Carson because I thought he was doing a great job and was a lovely character. But, I think they did it to remove "distractions" from the chemistry between John and Rodney. I loved hen they brought him back.
3. Rodney. Thinking about that ass...grrr....I want to wrap my legs around that ass. And you got to know that he would bring such "attention to detail" to the bedroom. I imagine him to be inventive, loving, gentle and a tiger. And I think he would have just enough kink in him to let me "play".
4. I would marry Rodney in a nano-second. And I wouldn't try to change him. Good sex and lots of unconditional love would do wonders for whatever excessive crankiness he displays.
5. Ronon's gun. Thigh holsters. Goofy looks between John and Rodney. Rodney's ass and arms. John's hair and smirk and low slung pants. All of these things steal my attention from the plot. Imagining a certain USAF Colonel naked often has me blushing and having to rewind "live tv" to catch the plot.
6. Dress blues or BDUs? Dress blues for the deliciousness of the jacket and the thought of unpealing John. BDUs for how hot they look on John and Rodney. Especially the black ones. *drools*
7. Jennifer. Whumped her into Ronon's arms or please don't hate me...OFF the show. I love Jewel but she was miscast and under-used in the show. They did her a real dis-service. Imagine her as an ass-kicking MILITARY doctor who tosses Ronon around when he gets "fresh" and then...guh. That would have been better than the silly boots and LBD.
8. Koyla. The guy gives me nightmares. Evil with no motivation. The rest of them have reasons for being out to kill our boys. Not Koyla. He's like the Joker of SGA. He just likes to watch shit burn.

Oooh, Koyla as Joker--how apt!
Though, what's LBD?

Date: 2010-08-12 02:05 pm (UTC)What bugged me more is once she was wearing the LBD (great acronym, thanks!) she seemed to forget she was a doctor. Did she stay and tend to the Flash Frozen Man while Rodney tried to stop the process? Did she tell Rodney (once he saved her from hypothermia with the Kiss of Life--don't get me started on that...)to get her out of the freaking wet clothes and get her warmed up somehow?
I have to admit, the first time I watched the ep, I missed the fact that she was still wearing the wet dress on the plane ride home. Okay, if she is coherent enough to walk on a plane, then she should be sharp enough to say, 'hey, dry clothes, buddy!'
And when she and Rodney had the conversation on the plane home about his personality traits, I was certain Rodney was going to tell her that this is who he was and she'd just have to take it or leave it. I was *expecting* it. When he didn't...
It doesn't matter if you were for or against McKeller--that is *not* the way to start off a healthy relationship!
