This is the screenshot.
And this is the behind the scenes shot.
Notice how the camera distorts the distance between McKay and Allina and Sanir in the background. Also note Hewlett, cramped into a ball on the ground to get the shot. That could have been almost anyone's arm. (Most of the season one shots of "Sheppard" holding a life signs detector were done by a producer, not by Joe Flanigan, including all of the hand shots in "Rising". Flanigan was in so many scenes that they decided it would be easier to take a second unit to film those close ups than to pull Joe away just to get his real hands.) Yeah, sometimes "acting" means doing the dirty work yourself. Literally. No "stars" on this show.
