Follow Up on The Game

Following up on stella_pegasi's earlier post, I found a cap of John's "avatar" from The Game. You can see the heart-shaped studs on his leathers very clearly here. Notice, also, the looks on Ronon's and Teyla's faces. What gives me the giggles about The Game is that Rodney's avatar is a smart, blonde woman, and John's is a rough, bald, leather daddy. With his heart on his sleeve chest. Make of that what you will. *grin*

My two brothers and most of my male friends would actually make the same type of avatar as John did, because men like to think they are big warriors :p.

In a way, Rodney's avatar would be the one making them take a second look in this persepective, hehehe.

The thing I liked the most was that the avatars had actually quite a lot of chemistry and UST... kinda like their creators ? ^_^

I so want to read a story about what happened between the two after the Team left. Did Nola and Badon fall in love? Continue to fight? Both?

Well, they didn't fall into each other's arms immediately you see. Because they are both way too proud to let it happen just like that, plus all these years of competitions have made them want to see the other one "fall" first.

Of course, they have to keep meeting, to organise lots of stuff (I'm being very precise, aren't I ? :p), and it gets harder and harder not to act on those feelings they have.

Everytime they meet they just get more and more into each other's spaces as they talk, or look at maps, everyone else has to get out of the room so they won't faint from the sheer tension.

Then of course, pride rear its ugly head and they fight for a bit, not meeting anymore and yet not rally at war again.

And when they miss the other too much they just find an excuse, anything really, that would require some form of diplomacy from them both.

They keep doing that for a while, wanting more but no knowing how to get past their differences and pride.

And then one day, Team Sheppard comes to visit again, to see if everything is going fine.
Teyla takes one look at the situation, gets them both into a room and tells them that if even Sheppard and McKay have managed to get over themselves to admit they needed each other more than they needed to fight, then so could Nola and Badon.
Then she makes the Team leave (leaving the boys in a state of "What just happen and why are we leaving already ?") and once she's gone Nola and Badon just talk and say they've been idiots and that it's now time to have lots of hot sex admit their feelings for each others.

Of course they still fight afterward, but it always ends well ^_^.
