Embarrassment of Riches

So this is a minor vent!post, but one full of squee, because I finally broke down and decided I need an SGA icon! YAY! (I am one of those who uses icons sparingly, so for me to make space for an SGA icon is a big deal(tm).)

But...but...but I can't CHOOSE! There are so many awesome icons out there! Like, gorgeous ones of John! And sweet McShep kissy icons! And fantastic team icons! And Lorne is so handsome! And Teyla, she's got such presence! And Vegas! And! AND!!!! *overload*

So hey, help a girl out. Share your favorite icons, and why you chose them! Or your favorite icon artist! I'm not looking to steal, I just need some...focus? Distraction? Whatever. :)

the icons packages (on top of the ones I had with the account) were totally a gift from me to me after a bad day.

I know! And then I discovered that when you replace icons, LJ will substitute your default icon in the OP where the former icon was present. Oh noes! I couldn't have that! :-)

ha! I learned that too at one point and it bothered my OCD tendencies so much. that's why I now label the icons with a generic name and if I change it, I take a new one that can take its place. *nods*

I have to say, I'm not a huge orange fan, though I've seen it used to good effect. I'm more a blue-green person myself. :-)
