Embarrassment of Riches

So this is a minor vent!post, but one full of squee, because I finally broke down and decided I need an SGA icon! YAY! (I am one of those who uses icons sparingly, so for me to make space for an SGA icon is a big deal(tm).)

But...but...but I can't CHOOSE! There are so many awesome icons out there! Like, gorgeous ones of John! And sweet McShep kissy icons! And fantastic team icons! And Lorne is so handsome! And Teyla, she's got such presence! And Vegas! And! AND!!!! *overload*

So hey, help a girl out. Share your favorite icons, and why you chose them! Or your favorite icon artist! I'm not looking to steal, I just need some...focus? Distraction? Whatever. :)

Oh, cool post! I'm the same - it's so hard to narrow it down to the, what, 17 to 19 icons that come when you have a paid account? So I paid for more, and now I have around 100, and it's not enough!! I need more that express my glee and squee and every li'l mood, you know?

It's a slippery slope, is what it is!

I like this one a lot. You're welcome to look at mine and take what you'd like, as well. I've tried to credit as well, but, like Mads, I got a few of them before I understood how you were supposed to do that. (Still not sure I do it exactly right.)

Mischief and danceswithgary and haruechan and from_the_corner are all gifted icon makers, among others, so you should check them out, for sure.

I can't wait to see the other responses to this post! :o)

Yes, yes, yes! I suck at names and am terrible about remembering things like that, which is why when I save an icon now, especially if I'm not planning to use it right away, I add the creator's name to the file.
