So this is a minor vent!post, but one full of squee, because I finally broke down and decided I need an SGA icon! YAY! (I am one of those who uses icons sparingly, so for me to make space for an SGA icon is a big deal(tm).)

But...but...but I can't CHOOSE! There are so many awesome icons out there! Like, gorgeous ones of John! And sweet McShep kissy icons! And fantastic team icons! And Lorne is so handsome! And Teyla, she's got such presence! And Vegas! And! AND!!!! *overload*

So hey, help a girl out. Share your favorite icons, and why you chose them! Or your favorite icon artist! I'm not looking to steal, I just need some...focus? Distraction? Whatever. :)

I'm going to have to icon spam you, I can see this now. Because I am an absolute ICON SLUT. Yes, I have said it out loud now. I love icons, I crave other people's icons, I have even tried to make them myself. Someone anonymously gifted me with userpics earlier in the year and I went bonkers!

You are welcome to go to my profile page and snag any icon you see that I have not listed as private--I have credited those where I know for a fact who the maker is, but I must admit, I collected some icons years before I even knew what they were and before I had a LJ account to use them in. Some of those don't have proper credits and if anyone recognizes them, PLEASE let me know who to credit!!

I love gifs but I don't know how to make them into icons. *pouty face*

My favorite icons makers are all on my profile page. If you see a preponderance of icons by mischief5 it is because her work is awesome!

I need some McKay/Sheppard Vegas icons, BTW. And some more Team Sheppard ones too. Just sayin'...

You are the total opposite of me; I'm very spartan with the icons. It took me several years on LJ before I got a second icon. I felt SO extravagant! LOL! But I keep doing too much SGA squeeing to just use a generic one, sooo....

I keep thinking I want one of the team, or maybe one of Atlantis the city, then I see some luscious John icons or McShep ones or....GAH. Choices! Too! Many! Choices!

I must admit, I have a handful of icons I use most often, but I love trying to pair my icon in a comment response with the icon of the person that I'm responding to--or if not that, then reflecting something that is said in the comments with the appropriate icon.

I was in the too many choices boat for sure until I got the gift of extra user pics. I haven't quite filled them all up yet--now that I've satisfied the initial rush, I find that I can wait for an icon that really speaks to me now.

It's sad when you reach 100 and want to add a new one or two, so you have to start picking through the ones you seldom use to make room for more, isn't it?

Yes, I shifted some of my 'seasonal' ones to make way for some of the ones that really mattered to me *coughVegascough*.

Hey, I love mischief's typewriter icons, so I can sympathize! If they had a Pepsi icon, I'm sure I'd be all over it.
