I've always loved the gates.

SG-1 has a gate of power and mystery.

Universe has a reto gate of gritty, determined purpose.

But Atlantis' gate is a thing of beauty. This is an awesome pic. I love how clearly the symbols show up on it.

And the gate is just as pretty in person. Last year's Chicago con had a piece that someone had won at auction and brought it along. David and Joe even posed by it during their talk. I really think that it is the most beautiful of the three.
