Meanwhile I shake my puny fist at mundania and marvel that even after all this time without new episodes, SGA still inspires us with things to talk about.

Just recently I've read beadattitudes McShep story "Competition is Healthy" and just loved it. Hot and lovely and totally in character.

Every time I see a gif or a fanvid, I am reminded all over a again of how much I love (and miss) this show. :-)

vida_boheme made a soundtrack from Vegas for me--it's a mix of the music used in that episode interspersed with some of the McKay/Sheppard dialog scenes in mp3 format.

The end sequence, when John confronts the Wraith in the trailer, never fails to make my blood run cold when I hear the gun blast that seems to come out of no where--and finishes with Solitary Man playing in the end. Little wonderful, horrified shivers. Every time.

vida_boheme has done some amazing ones--she did ones for my stories Homecoming and Kiss Me Not, as well as for the McFleece and the Reflected Passions (Brendan/Vincent) coms that are like character studies. bluespirit_star has done some terrific sound mixes as well--her Solitary Man comes to mind.

For the longest time, my favorite was Cuddle Up (http://mcfleece.livejournal.com/14472.html) (the one she did for the McFleece com).

I hadn't even downloaded Reflected Passions (http://brendan-vincent.livejournal.com/23725.html), mostly because I hadn't read much Brendan/Vincent fic. Then mezzo_cammin told me that RP was her personal favorite of Vida's mixes, so I checked it out. Now I'd have to say it's a hard call as to which one I like best! Most days, I just rotate between all of the ones she's made--love her taste in music and she's introduced me to some fabulous artists as a result. :-)

Every day there are new episodes, written by peeps (mostly amateurs) who are Far. Better. Writers than TPTB ever hired (especially in S5).

We know what we love and we share it openly and gladly with others who are like minded.
