Returning to Atlantis aboard the Daedalus after a trip to Earth, Dr. Weir, Dr. McKay and newly promoted Lt. Colonel John Sheppard have two murders to solve when scientists are found dead in their labs. The men were seemingly killed by equipment malfunctions but McKay finds it all very peculiar. He soon realizes that a Wraith virus has infected the ship's computer systems. While on Earth, Elizabeth Weir has had to face up to the military who want to replace Sheppard as the senior military officer on Atlantis. She also has to deal with her own personal situation when Simon seems reluctant to return to Atlantis with her.  [Poll #1790604]

Stephen is mostly just a glorified truck driver Yeah, I guess you're right - just because he's on a ship doesn't mean that he's getting to explore much of anything. The ship is extremely capable, but if all he gets to do is stay in nearby space and make runs to Atlantis, that isn't very exciting.

where we have differences of opinion... I'm sure a lot of factors come into play here. Our age difference, different countries, different life experiences, but also different experiences with the show. I don't know when you came into the fandom, but I've only been here side I started watching the show last April. I haven't read in the fandom much - either fanfics or interviews/articles/etc.

I also have to admit to not being much of a deep thinker. I tend to take things at face value, and not look for deeper meanings behind dialogue or body language unless it's really in-your-face.
