 I checked with melagan , and she allowed me to pimp, so here I go!

If I say "Landcom", do you know what I am talking about? These days, there are tons of them around: for certain verses, tv shows, genra, etc. Usually, You have 3-5 teams that compete to bring in points, and at the end of the phase there's a winner. 

It's TONS of fun, let me assure you. You don't need to be a skilled artist or good writer, just to have enthusiasm. The challenges can be to write a drabble, a 6 word fic, do a puzzle, icons, banners, a songvid, get to know your team, a round robin, everyone shares a quote, etc. 

Curious? Well there is a landcom for Stargate lovers, stargateland , with 3 teams: SG1, SGA and SGU. (Which doesn' t mean you cannot play with the others shows if you are signed up for one team!)
