Sorry this is late, guys! Real life has been hectic lately. This week's episode is
Home, where the people of Atlantis are presented with the chance to return to Earth. But nothing is what it seems...

Date: 2017-12-11 07:20 pm (UTC)It did seem like the writers were trying to give John some het cred. He and Elizabeth have an awkward conversation about leaving/not leaving Atlantis and then John spends the bulk of the rest of his time with Teyla.
John is the first to catch on that Things are Not Right. I suspect the polyester track suit he found himself wearing had a lot to do with that.
One of the things I liked about the filming was the way the scenes switched, becoming more unsettling as time passed until we see two Rodneys talking to two Elizabeths, back to back.
Yes, Rodney, that's a very good point about your bodies laying around, no food or water and basically left to die.
We had a couple of nice Ford moments but it felt like he got ignored in this episode. Still, helping Rodney with the DHD ends up having important consequences later on.
John's enough is enough moment and pulling his gun/Rodney smashing the ZPM
are both -pass the ice- moments in my book. *loosens collar*

Date: 2017-12-12 01:00 am (UTC)One thing that stood out to me as weird was John pointing out a woman that wouldn't even date him. Even in the polyester track suit, I still would.
I wish we had gotten more Ford, too. It feels like his "moments" were really more about other people.
I love that John and Rodney had, "This is bullshit" moments at the same time. Same wavelength, even in different realities.
