I loved our introduction to Ronon in Runner. Who knew that would be the tip of the iceberg and that we'd get such a complex and definitive character from it.

On the run for seven years. Wraith killer. Poet. Lover. Tough but vulnerable.

What are your favorite Ronon bits...er, let me rephrase.

I have to admit that I wasn't all that interested in Ronon at first. I missed Ford, even though I enjoyed The Lost Boys/The Hive a lot. Ronon was just "there" for me for a while.

But he really grew on me. I loved those moments where he was *happy* and really part of the team. That big bear hug with John and the Satedan Grab Ass game really stand out to me. He's adorable when he smiles and has a good sense of humor.

When I rewatched after not seeing the series for a while, I definitely appreciated his earlier episodes a lot more. He really grew a lot throughout the course of the series!

I missed Ford too and was leery of having one of the team replaced.

But our introduction to the character was darn good storytelling and I was caught.

Kudos to Jason Momoa for putting heart and soul into the character.

Ummmm...
- The moment we're first introduced to Ronon.
- The grin on Ronon's face when he says: "I meant, should I want to escape, they will not be able to stop me." at the end of Runner.
- His gauntlets, gun, and that chocolate linen shirt with the leather neckline.
- Neck tatt.
- His questions, especially the ones that make everyone else blush, but to Ronon he's just asking for information.
- Golf, Satedan Grabass, and "Are you seeing anyone?"
- When he bucks John's orders. It happens so rarely, but when it does it adds an extra layer of tension to the scene. Eg, in the tunnels.
- "No, John!" *squees* Ronon called Sheppard by his first name! :D
- "Where you going?" "With you." (Outcast)
- The entire scene in the mess hall with Teal'c and eventually John.

I could continue, but I'd best leave it there ;D

Oooh yes! Those are some lovely lovely scenes, indeed. And let's not be forgetting the shoulder holster while we're at it.

I love him especially, when he cares about the members of the team and others, too. I love him smile! And I love him being a terrific warrior, like in the episode Sateda.
