I love SGA fandom and its myriad talents - the writers, the artists, the crafters, the fans with an encyclopedic knowledge of the episodes, the pic-spams, the enthusiasts, the con reporters and photographers. I get a great buzz from coming online each day to find something new and interesting on my f-list, or in my email. SGA fandom is a pretty cool place to be.

Yes, all fandoms have their negative sides (not least of which, the inclination to focus too strongly on every tiny flaw...) but being in this fandom has blessed me with some of the dearest friends, and amazed me with its generosity of spirit. Below is a collection of photographs showing the delights my postman delivered over the last weekend. A physical representation of how much this fandom rocks.

The lovely lysambre  sent me a letter and a box that contained this wonderful cushion she had made, based on a Christmas card I sent out.♥

 

The wonderful sgamadison  andtangotabby arranged for my daughter Alex to receive this autograph from Joe to make up for missing him at Glasgow. That's the generosity of spirit that I see so often in this community ♥ I also received an autographed photo of a very hot, young, Major Sheppard. *Fans self*


A total surprise was the hilarious signed photo sent to me by gyri  and ailurophile6

Most definitely the best squee around are the squee'ers!!

I found out about the "I'd rather be Watching Stargate Atlantis" t-shirts and the Stargate Atlantis necklace, and now I have both. (The keychain, too.)

I've read amazing stories, get the pleasure of looking at wonderful graphics, have enjoyed Stargateland and all the fun games and challenges...love Daily Flan and all the other daily or weekly doses of hotness we get to view, and I love SGA_Squee.

But my favorite squee...you guys...getting the chance to interact, and have fun with other crazy fan types is wonderful.
