I just read this fic - I think I missed a lot of excellent SGA fic in the last few years while I was immersed in reading everything Teen Wolf or Harry/Draco related, and this is one of them. It's canon AU, post Enemies at the Gate, and it is SO GOOD! It's hard to imagine John/Rodney having a slow-build sort of fic in the canon universe, but this fic manages it, and John's voice here is perfect. As is everyone's, really. Plus, there's PLOT. Woohoo!!!! :)
