This show gave us many pairings to love but there's no denying the pairing of Rodney McKay/John Sheppard that swept through the SGA fandom like a whirlwind. They certainly swept me along for the ride.

Articles like this one just fed the flames. *g*

That and the comment about McKay being John's girlfriend--or was it the other way around? I think it was Flanigan who said that, though.

And then the bit with Flanigan suggesting they play McKay and Sheppard like Hope and Crosby in the Road movies. Love, love, love.

No way, Flanigan said that? (About Hope and Crosby) because just recently in a roadtrip story I had John say "If anyone asks, I'm Bing and you're Bob." hee.

Yes, Flanigan said that about Hope and Crosby, though I don't remember now where I heard that. That's too funny about your story--that's like when they showed a teaser for Vegas and the BF turned to me and said, "Didn't you already write that story?" :-)

I'm pretty sure too it was Hewlett who said McKay functioned as Sheppard's girlfriend because I remember the crowd reaction when he said it, and he paused, tilting the microphone to one side and said, "Not like *that*" and then waited for the uproar to die down. He went on to say that McKay gave Sheppard someone to bitch to and worry over, or something to that effect. :-)
