Elizabeth, Teyla, Keller, Sam, Marie, Miko, Kate, Biro (I love Biro so much) Teldy...and at this point I have to start looking at gateworld because I have memory fail.

We had host of ladies that could fly puddlejumpers, shoot down Wraith ships, work in the labs and match wits and smarts with the men. (I'm looking at you Rodney)

I remember when career options for young women were - teacher, nurse, secretary and marriage. I love, love, loved the moment when Elizabeth tells Col Sumner that, they'll walk through the gate to Atlantis together. I still squeee.

I could fill this entry up with pictures but I thought you might like to post some to share. Favorite ladies, favorite moments.

We don't have to have just one. ;)

There are so many wonderful women in this show that is hard to keep in mind all of them, so don't blame yourself, please.

Reading your short list, I'm proud that there is a Hungarian woman on it, the awesome Dr. Bíró (yes, I'm Hungarian and yes, this is the correct spelling of this name and it means: judge. The first Hungarian language lesson is over). I couldn't find out if her first name had been ever mentioned in the show unfortunately.

I couldn't find a reference to her first name either. But first name or no, she cut out a place for herself in Atlantis.
