It's so beautifully done that if I didn't know it was a manip I'd think it was a promo shot.

Well, helllo-o-o, airman! ;-) Yes, that is marvelously done! The only thing that doesn't look like a promo shot is the way his ribbons & insignia are blurred.

This is a great example of SGA artworks that really helps me see, through other fans' eyes, just how attractive Joe/John is. (Don't hit me! *ducks* I never dissed him; he just isn't one of my usual 'types' in guys....) I can't really say that my attitude adjustment would apply to anyone else who resembles him, but it definitely worked in JF's case... & in the case of uniforms, come to think of it. I intensely dislike seeing, in person, people in actual uniforms & uniforms aren't an attractive feature to me in fiction or images, but John & the other SG-1/SGA characters helped moderate that feeling over time. (Which is pretty amusing, considering how non-standard or unmilitary the clothes & actors were, especially John!)

Oh dear, I didn't have a uniform kink until SGA. It's responsible for so much. But that's a talk for later. *g*

Wow. 2 gorgeous pictures. Just wanted to say thanks for opening up more SGA discussion. I came into the fandom just last year and it's great to have somewhere to go to see people still discussing this great show. Looking forward to lead up to SGA 10 year fest. Again, thanks for keeping the love alive.
