John tells Anne and Dusty to split up and regroup in twenty minutes. Um ... just how much ground does he think they're going to cover in that short a time? This time they're using portable glow sticks as markers and flashlights. Smart idea.
More unidentified creepy lurking and shooting. Ugh. John manages to find Alison hiding underneath some steps. Will anybody please stay in one place?
Back to more irresponsible behaviour in the house where Carson's stuck with Mirellus who refuses to keep quiet and continues to speak very loudly. Well, he gets his as two creatures attack. Bye-bye, Mirellus. Carson pulls a cupboard over to block the broken window. And of course there's spooky mist coming through under the door.
John and Alison meet up with Dusty and then bump into Anne back in the house. Of course Carson's missing and there's blood on the floor. Carson's seen running through the village. ::shakes head::
Anne mentions she saw a creature climb out of the well. Uh-oh. So the catacombs probably run for miles, to the well and into town, making it very convenient for Michael to grab people. [Can I roll my eyes, please?]
Then they start doing the math as to how many pods there were and how many they've eliminated. Dusty's on top so far.
Alison comes up with an idea to lure the creatures into a trap using a computer tablet. John decides he'll be the one to implement the plan to blow up the well while the women are at a safe distance. Yup, typical John, taking all the risks. And for once there's no sexist reasoning. It's just how John operates.
So John's trying to place the computer in the bucket, but he has to crank the SQUEAKY handle to raise and lower it. Uh-oh. Noise = very bad and gets him attacked. Naturally he loses hold of the timer for the explosive and the countdown's already begun. Luckily he's rescued by the most improbable source, namely Carson, who shoots the apparently female creature and helps to down her.
We're back to misplaced chivalry as Carson asks John if Alison is okay. Gee, Carson, I guess everybody else is chopped liver.
Well, there's no time to chat as the sound of clicking comes nearer. Oops, too late. The two men appear to be surrounded. They back up toward the well.
The C4 goes boom and the women fire at the hybrid creatures until there's no more screaming. Alison calls out John's rank but there's no answer.
Yay – the fog seems to be lifting. The women are counting bodies and think they've got all twelve. Of course that's when another hybrid attacks. They kill it and Dusty recalculates her totals, lol. Then they're hailed over their radios by John who just happens to be down the well, in the catacombs. He wants them to join Carson and him.
