a. I have thoroughly enjoyed ALL your Defiant One picspams, especially the John- and Rodney-devoted ones.
b. I will be snerching some of these images (if that's okay!) and iconning them as soon as I get finished moving (which is a couple of weeks off, so don't hold your breath).
c. The two solo pics in this entry? GUH. Like a punch in the gut. Rodney looks so melancholy, telling John that Gall didn't make it; and John is sad about it and also concerned about how Rodney's handling it.
d. A++++ picspamming, my dear! :D (Sorry I don't comment more often.)
Wow--brilliant caps! Sorry I don't comment more often but I really enjoy reading/looking at these, especially for the eps I haven't seen. Thank you!! <3 <3 <3
Of course the remaining remnants of the Ancient/Wraith war would pop up now and then and cause trouble for them, just like forgotten land-mines of already ceased wars on Earth.
The queen from "Submersion", the one that was shot down over Atlantis and then trapped on the bottom of the sea for ten thousand years, was also such a "remnant".
But the idea of the Wraith-version of a supply vessel, full of humans - creepy idea but a pretty consistent continuation of the idea of what would happen through such a war.
You know, I realize that I haven't seen much fanfic that pick up on this idea - the Atlantis people having to deal with just another "remnant" of this war, be it a forgotten weapon or something else left from this times. In fact, I can't remember having come upon such a story up to know.
Hm... I guess I have to go to sga_genrefinders and ask.
Again, thanks for doing these Atlantis-weeks. I enjoy them very much.
