SHEPPARD: That's how long it will take us to come get you by Puddlejumper.

McKAY (sarcastically): But you would do that, right?

SHEPPARD (insincerely): Of course we would.

I love this exchange for three reasons: one, it's completely absurd; two, Rodney plays along with it anyway; three, even though John's jerking Rodney's chain, his tone of voice is ridiculously fond.

Oh, and the look in John's eyes. Guh!

I love that Rodney went himself. SG1 Rodney would have sent a red shirt.

And his increasing frustration about the bizarre test results, and the totally casual way John politely says hello to his elementary school teacher just never get old, do they?

They're being goofy and John is fond and they're both just so adorable. I really love that eventually, John does come for Rodney - when he's at the bottom of the ocean, when it seems impossible :P
