Suspicion Week

Not the first time McKay faced the Wraith but the first time he went out with the team on a non-scientific mission. Notice he's wearing combatant grey, not science tan. Sheppard, Ford, Teyla -- they're trained to fight. McKay's a scientist, and until Atlantis, a theoretical scientist. Now, he has to learn what they do as naturally as breathing.

There are a lot of stories out there about McKay's learning curve. Got recs?

I should comment that the one fic - Firepower - is actually gen.

Pinboard has better search than delicious does :) I'm always grateful that I have it when I need to find fics *quickly*

For some reason -- I'm not sure why -- if a comment has a link in it, it's held until the OP can decide if it's spam. I thought I'd fixed that on the comm settings but I guess it's a little too nuanced for LJ. :/ (Members can post freely but apparently not comment freely. Weird.)

Sorry about that. At least it keeps the bizarre Russian spam away.

Oh, weird. I posted once and it was marked as spam, so I deleted it and tried again, and decided to just leave it. I'm glad it wasn't something I did.
