I just love her stink eye. I bet her team hates it, especially Rodney, who's a master at it himself. Come to think of it, everyone on the team does a great stink eye. *grin*

Quite literally, Teyla kicks ass! I liked the first two seasons for Teyla both because of her bearing and the conflict or situations written for her. I always like the Michael arc until they went the way they did. Would have much preferred a storyline where Michael was picking up something from Teyla's heritage of the Forgotten. Not that I didn't like Prodigal, but it was done a little too "Hollywood" for my tastes, or maybe I mean predictable. ;)

I loved this scene. Bates asks her a question, she arches a brow and then proceeds to speak with Elizabeth. Classic.

I think Suspicion is one of my favorite episodes of all. So much happened in it, character growth wise, with the McShep, and the teaminess (McKay's insistence they go back for Teyla and Ford, for instance), and yes, especially Teyla. She was the leader of her people - for a damn good reason! Plus, we learned a lot more about the Wraith.

I loved the hostility between Bates and John, too. All that alpha male posturing, and John not backing down - it laid a nice groundwork for that scene in Hot Zone when Bates deferred to John.

Yeah, they could have gone a lot of terrific places with Teyla -- they certainly set up for it -- but they didn't. Seems a shame. (More female writers would have been helpful. Any female writers would have been helpful.) As for the Michael arc, hold that thought. I may ask you to weigh in as we get to those episodes. :)
