Day 8: Hottest scene

What one scene really tripped your trigger? For me, it was McKay and Carter in Grace Under Pressure.

Carter: "I know how to warm you up..." And the delightful knowledge that she was a hallucination...

Oh, I loved that scene in Grace under pressure, Amanda Tapping and David Hewlett have such great chemistry :).

Very hot also the kiss between John and Teyla when he transforms into a bug.

John being angry at Rodney in Adrift, and Rodney standing his ground... melting hot (and then followed immediately by a very *awwww* scene, just the way I like :p)

The scene on the pier when John fiercely refuses to say goodbye--and then Rodney makes him spit beer. Because that? That's *chemistry*. :-)

Okay, now this is going to sound strange ::cues Twilight Zone theme:: but, for me, the hottest thing (outside of fanfic, obviously) is a supremely confident Rodney coming down the stairs to the rescue of John (as in my regrettably too-dark icon) in Doppleganger. Yeah, Goldsmith's music helped, but it was all Rodney!

Aaaaaand, speaking of an overly confident Rodney (hmmmm, I do seem to have a kink there, don't I) is in Vegas, from 'I know everything about you" through all of the interactions between him and John.

Oh, and I so know what you mean about Vegas!Rodney too. Would like to know how he got there... I suspect maybe he was never humbled by his experiences with Carter and SG-1...

Or the scene in Prodigal in the jumper? When Rodney tries *again* to say goodbye because he thinks John is going to die? And John just wrinkles up his nose and looks at him like he's nuts? Why that works for me, I have no idea.

Can't pick just one!

Teyla and Ronon fighting in "Echoes" and Teyla grinning in satisfaction after winning, and the two of them facing off in "Lost Boys/The Hive" while they're both on the enzyme... both of those scenes, yeah. In general I'm happy any time Teyla's in the practice room.

John pulling Rodney by his tac vest in... I forget which episode.

My oddest one is probably the conversation during "The Seer" when Rodney is distressed, talking about what a mistake he had made in reprogramming the Asurans to attack the Wraith, and John says, "We never could have known it was gonna go this way." John's voice is so gentle. It implies this whole other aspect of their relationship where the two of them confide in each other and console each other. I love it.

You should. It's this short little scene, easy to miss, but let me tell you, if I knew an easy way to make video loops, I would have made one of John talking to Rodney in that sympathetic, gentle tone, and listened to it forEVER.
