At the suggestion of selenic76 I'm sharing this here :)

As happens in the mind of a writer, random thoughts breed more random thoughts.
I scribbled this down a while back, but I know I'll never get around to expanding it into a story, so I'm leaving it here in the hopes that it will inspire someone.  Since it's me, I was thinking a gorgeously hot and complicated, sometimes funny, sometimes angsty, John/Ronon, or even a John/Cam fic, about searching for and recognizing the real you and your real partner.  But whichever pairing gets chosen, it'll make it's creator happy. :)

What if the stargate actually scans you and reproduces you at the other end?
Would there be clones of you everywhere?
What happens to the original you?
From the moment you experience your first gate travel, are you ever you?
How could you tell which you is the real you?
