Ah, Rising. I remember when I first watched it the thing I was most excited about was the Scottish accent I heard! The very second Carson spoke I shot to attention. It's so rare to hear a Scottish accent on US TV shows andit always makes me smile.
(The first time I saw Paul McGillion talking in his own accent was incredibly surreal, I still think he sounds weird (but weirdly, also like a million times hotter?))
But, to echo some other comments, they're just all so young! Joe especially looks like he's twelve, lol. And, can we all thank the lord that they replaced that first Teyla wig quickly??
One last thing: when exactly did they decide to do away with the whole 'Wraith make you see things that aren't there' thing? Ah, SG writers, retconning their own ideas again.
