I haven't rewatched it yet, but just seeing this gif brings back all the feels of watching Atlantis rise. A shiver went down my spine, I gaped in awe and yes, there were even tears (in my eyes though, they did not run). And even though I did not understand a word of Radek's explanation in a later episode, what he said resonated with me.
I will forever be moved by that scene; like the first time the Stargate whooshes open in the 1994 film, or Destiny waking up and readying herself. It helps of course that Atlantis is just so beautiful, and we finally get to see her in all her glory.
